Originally from Yugoslavia. This garlic has a pungent garlic aroma and a strong, hot,spicy taste that fades to sweet in the mouth. Holds up well with long cooking times. Has a thick tough redish wrapper that is excellent for storing. Bulbs contain 4 to 5 large cloves. Harvest midseason.
